How to Iron On Your Oli & Ari Iron-On Sheets (Easy Step-by-Step Guide)
So you’ve got your Oli & Ari iron-on sheets and you’re ready to create something adorable. Let’s do this ✨ Whether it’s a tee, tote, or gift, here’s exactly how to apply your design for the best results.
What You will Need
- Oli & Ari iron-on sheet
- A clean, dry fabric surface (cotton works best!)
- Household iron (no steam 🚫)
- Hard, flat surface (table or countertop — NOT an ironing board)
- Parchment paper or thin cloth
Step 1: Prep Your Surface
Make sure your fabric is:
- Clean
- Completely Dry
- Wrinkle free
Quick tip: Iron the fabric first for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and creases.
Step 2: Position Your Design
- Cut out your design
- Place it design side down (shiny/clear side facing up).
- Make sure it's flat before pressing.
Step 3: Apply Heat
- Set your iron to medium-high (cotton setting) or at 310 F (115 C). Steam off.
- Place parchment paper on top of the design and press firmly and evenly for 12-15 seconds.
- Apply strong, even pressure — don’t slide the iron around.
Step 4: Let It Cool & Peel
- Let the design cool for about 30–60 seconds.
- Slowly peel off the clear backing.
- If any edges lift, place the parchment paper back over it and press again for another 5–10 seconds.
Step 5: Lock It In
For extra durability:
- Place parchment paper over the design again.
- Press for another 5–10 seconds.
Washing Tips (So It Lasts!)
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- Turn garment inside out.
- Wash cold.
- Hang dry when possible.
- No bleach.
- Avoid high heat drying.
- Do not iron the design
